It’s that time of year…to make some kitchen messes while cooking up some sweet treats! We have gotten in the kitchen two nights in a row this week making some goodie gifts for friends and neighbors. So, if I don’t get around to delivering my treats to your door step this year or you live far away, I’ve included a super easy recipe from our fun kitchen time.
Last night, we went to my mom’s to bake with her & Jamie. We made Turtles, Chex Mix and Gingerbread Cookies.
**Recipe for Easy Turtle Candy**
small pretzels-twisted
Rolo candy pieces
pecans halves, whole/ raw
Lay pretzels out on cookie sheet. Unwrap the candy and place one piece per pretzel. Bake for 3-5 minutes (350 F?),until the chocolate is soft but not completely melted. Remove from oven and push one pecan per piece. Refrigerate. Enjoy!
