Today Mother’s Day Out celebrated Christmas with a pajama party. Santa came and Candace took pictures. The kids had their party, a gift exchange, got showered with lots of goodies from their teachers AND brought home all of their Christmas crafts they have been making.
Although we had our picture with Santa at the Breakfast with Santa, I took advantage of having another opportunity (and an “inside” connection with the photographer!) and brought Sara Gray to school to join Campbell in Santa’s lap.
Clairee had bought Campbell’s Christmas pj’s awhile back and I had almost forgotten about them. Luckily, I pulled them out a few days ago to make sure they fit. Yesterday while I was in Montgomery I stopped by the Name Dropper for some Christmas shopping and all their Christmas was 25% off and they just happened to have matching pj’s in Sara Gray’s size! It was a good thing I got them because when I got home, Matt had put some of the pj’s Campbell had her first Christmas on SG and they were way too small—she is just so much bigger than Campbell was at this same age. ANYWAY—they both have super cute, matching Christmas pajamas and I wanted a picture of them together.
When I got to school, Campbell was so surprised to see us and her whole class was so excited. They all know Sara Gray and wanted to touch her—Campbell must talk about her at school! Both the girls were excellent with Santa—this time Santa was a very jolly ol’ sole and the studio was set up in our church parlor which was so pretty. It’s probably a little excessive to have two separate Santa photo sessions but I am thankful we did.

Miss Mary and Mrs Missy with Campbell and SG
This is Kelsey, Mrs Missy’s daughter. Kelsey is in college and helps her mom’s classroom. Campbell says that Kelsey is her “best friend” AND that Kelsey says "Campbell is a hot mess!”

Since Campbell brought home tons of ornaments she has been making (and we really don’t um have room on the big tree in the living room) we decorated a little craft tree for the kitchen. Wow-Mrs Missy, Miss Mary and Kelsey have been busy with the hot glue!

Love the little craft tree...so thoughtful for your little one!
I'd love to see your other tree. Got a pic for the blog?
The other day I was talking to another woman at the gym how it's hard for us to let our kids decorate the tree and I mentioned to her what I just read on your blog about the craft tree. We both thought it was a great idea, were gonna have to steal it next year! :) Thanks!
