Every home in Trillium has a wood sign with the home owner’s last name. When Campbell was born, we took her picture by the sign that was her name (and my parent’s last name) and we’ve done it each year on her birthday just as a little indicator of how much she has grown. Earlier this summer I mentioned that it would be difficult to explain to Sara Gray why Campbell had “her” name at the lake house and other places. We were surprised when we arrived at the lake Memorial Day weekend and found that someone had left a “Sara Gray” sign for us! The sign will be posted on the beach area and with every grandkid, a new sign will go on the post. My mom is envisioning a whole totem pole I think!
