I went to the doc today and we are still on schedule to induce next week. So the plan is I go next Monday & have my appt at 2:30 and then check-in at the hospital by 5pm. They’ll give me “the pill” overnight and then start with the pitocin early Tuesday morning. This was the exact game plan I had with Campbell so if all goes according to plan and my history, Sara Gray should be here next Tuesday morning!
Dr. A says he feels confident that our plan is right on schedule. Sara Gray is low and in position but her heartbeat and movement is still fast & strong which indicates she is still happy with her environment and not looking to leave yet. But of course babies have their own plans sometimes. I know most women who are full-term in July are not trying to prolong their pregnancy any more than necessary but I want to finish up the house, have Campbell’s birthday and then get some rest. So keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer I get through the weekend!!
