This past weekend Matt, Campbell and I snuck away to the lake for a little one-on-one family time. It was still too cool to get in the water but it was nice to just get away and have some quiet time.
Saturday afternoon, we went to a new local gourmet market, Catherine’s, and got steaks and lobster. When we got home Matt said “I am not really sure how to cook lobster.” Well, they were on sale so I guess we got excited about the thought of them before figuring out what to do with them. He put them on the grill with lots of butter and they were DELICIOUS! Even Campbell ate it.
She loves steak (and now lobster!) so she is not going to be a cheap date. Which is fine with her daddy & me!
We had a really good weekend together and can’t wait until the weather warms up so we can really jump in and have a good time swimming, boating & riding the Sea Doos. I can tell Campbell is going to super fun this year at the lake!
